Wonder is it a recent release or it's already something old... using the Windows Live Messenger latest version now... what's so special about the latest version? Well, new sound play for nudge and etc (more Vista like sound... softer...) and better looking interface (looks nice...). Overall it is still the same old messenger service with a brand new look. But the release still has some minor issue with it.
First, it can't show the user name in colour... recently messenger allow us to change the colour of our display name right? But this new version doesn't has that function. Next, the status. Before this there are online, busy, be right back, away, out to lunch, appear offline, on call... now the status only left available, busy, away & appear offline. Wonder why they cut off those status... anyway, the new status is represent by colour now rather than the usual "no entry" and "clock" sign, green for available, yellow for away, red for busy, white for offline.
If you want to try it out, just download it from MSN webpage or use google search to get it.
