Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

I have watched a few good movies recently, and this is another one that is touching & meaningful.

This is a story about a boy lost his father in Sept 11 tragedy, and all his dad left for him was a key inside an envelop, with the word "Black" written on it. And soon, the boy begins his journey in search for the lock that the key opens... visiting people after people with the last name "Black", he embarks himself on a journey to know others, to know himself, and to know his family... in the end, the key was belongs to someone else, it doesn't lead him to his father. But the key did unlock his heart from the outside world, and release himself from the tragic and trauma of the lost of his father.

Many times, we are emphasising on the result or the outcome, which in the end has made us exhausted, drive us crazy, and disappointed ourselves and others. What we don't see, is the "process" rather than the "result" that is more fruitful to us. We should learn to cherish the process more. And take a look around you, you will realize that there are many people around you, friends and family, who will help you and guide you throughout the process.

Extremely loud & incredibly close, this is the voice of our hearts beating.
