staying up late nite

It's really been awhile since the last time I stay up until so late... don't count in the time when rushing for preparation of the Japanese Cultural Night event during mid night... yes, it's really been awhile. Recently no matter how busy I am, I'll sleep around 10-11pm+ for sure, and wake up early to complete my things if there's any. Tonight... just don't know why, not really to say I'm not sleepy & not tired, but maybe my mind and my mood is mixing up with lots of other things which runs in my thoughts... just don't feel like want to go to sleep yet... nothing to do particularly... just finish typing some of the report for my project, and really wasting my time now... sigh... what happened to me actually?

Australian Grand Prix 2009

Formula 1 Season 2009 has finally started. Congratulation to Brawn and Jenson for winning the title here. Disappointed performance by Rubens though. Brawn, formerly working along side with Michael Schumacher in Ferrari, is now the owning the Brawn GP team. Great race and performance from him and Jenson despite the controversy occurred. Overall, BMW is fast, so as Red Bull. Ferrari is looking good in race pace too, but Raikonen failed to score due to driver mistake, and Massa withdraw from the race due to some mechanical problem. Toyota, as usual, promising in qualifying but losing out in the real race. Torro Rosso and Force India is catching up. Williams seems to be ok but a lot of troubles strikes their day. Renault and Mc Laren... donno what to say, the most dissapointed team in my opinion. They should have shown more than that... anyway, hope that Ferrari will back on winning track as soon as possible. And hope that Kimi will be back to the winning path too. Great race indeed at Australia.

Gundam 30th Anniversary

Celebrating the Gundam 30th Anniversary, BANDAI is going to build a 1:1 Gundam model, yes! 18m tall Gundam model! It is going to be place at a park (donno where is it) which will include light and exhaust, from time to time the exhaust will spray out some mist. Great thing indeed, but unfortunately I'm not able to get upclose to it... anyway, looking forward to see the picture of the real made model!

Wonder why

Sometimes, it makes me wonder why... why someone want to join a club or a committee when he/she is not willing to sacrifice for it? Honestly, I really can't get it... isn't it a comment sense that when you join this, you are actually baring the responsibility for not just on your own but also the whole committee... why can't people think properly like that? Is it really that hard? I have no idea actually on such kind of thoughts... what is going on with mankind? sigh... How old are you already? It's about time to start working after graduating from university, and yet the mind is still having childish thinking like that... kind of understand why so many graduates from university were unable to get a job... this should be part of the main reason... the attitude they shown here... who will hire such kind of people?

I don't really mind that one do something wrong in the committee, everyone will make mistake, just need to learn from it, that's all. But what I really anger about most of the time is they are not willing to make an effort at all to work things out... giving all sort of reasons... not free... assignment... mid term... everyone is the same, isn't it? Others also having mid term, also pack in time, also need to rush assignment, then? Does this mean in the end we all no need to get things done? Study is actually important, but what they didn't realize is... no matter how well they study, they have already became a loser... losing to those who are able to gain something extra that you will never ever get it in your lecture. But what can be done? Their minds are still so narrow and not willing to broad it up to see the wider scope... there's nothing I can do, I don't feel like want to scold them because it's not up to me to do so. They'll know and regret about what they are lacking of soon...

Kinda worry about the future of this club... I can actually say I'm glad and proud of being in this club... but I really doubt that any others are able to do so... worry about the future of mankind... or maybe this is just the education system that Malaysia is creating... study-based student... things beyond that - empty... sigh... don't care already... nothing much can be done... rest in peace everyone... including myself... sigh...

Japanese Cultural Week

10-14 March 2009

Finally, it's all over now. From the workshops on weekdays which covers Ikebana, Tea Ceremony, Sushi Making, Kimono Dressing and Origami, to the movie showing and exhibition in the library, end with the Japanese Cultural Night with food stalls, exhibition booths such as PVC Figurines, Gundam, PS3 Games, Card Games, Cosplay, Manga and mini games... everything was finaly over... total exhausted from me... making it into reality makes me feel kinda glad...

Problems keep on rising... but finally all the workshops, movie showing and exhibitions end up without any major problems. Then here comes the Saturday event... the Japanese Cultural Night. It is an outdoor event, so weather will be the main concern. And guess what? It rains... around 4pm rain starts to drizzle... and all our plans have to be switch... 7pm... the time when the show should starts... well, I guess only about 100 people is around there... as the show goes on... I can see about 200 in the middle of it... well, it makes me feel that "well, that's it..." at that very moment... but when the rain stops around 9pm+, the crowd starts to gather... almost double from just now! And due to the better weather condition, we managed to do a real bon-odori dance at the open area together with the lovely stage we designed... sob sob... tears really like whelming in me... in the end, the whole event managed to end up with a great success...

Thank you for those who attend the event. Thank you for all the booths that participated in this event. Thank you for all the performers. Thank you to Judo, Kendo and Karate Club at Kota Kinabalu. Thank you to Mr. Julian for helping out. Thank you to Mr. Yohan for providing a great sound and light system. Thank you to Consulate General of Japan and Japan Foundation for giving us the full support. Thank you to Consul General for coming and officially closed the Japanese Cultural Week. Thank you to all my committee members. Thank you my dear for all the helps and care...

Thank you once again to everyone involved with this event. Hope that Japanese Cultural Club will continue to be active and organizing a better and greater event. Pictures will be uploaded once I get them... I'm too busy to take any picture that day...

My 1st Gundam at Sabah

Hehe... because the timing is not good, by the time I fly back to Sabah during my CNY holiday, this kit haven't released yet, and I afraid this kit will out of stock very soon due to some reason... so I decided to buy it here at Sabah... so I bring along some paint and brush back to Sabah with me... and bought this kit... I forgot to bring the coating spray... and most importantly I forgot to bring my 00 Gundam here... so I can't do the docking mode now... anyway, this is the 1/144 scale 0 raiser, it cost me RM40 only... hehe... spent a few midnight to build it... need to rush for midterm and also club event... just hope everything will run smooth and fine...
